Walmart suppliers partner in “Saluting Heros Together” – Path to Purchase Institute

Walmart is rallying suppliers to provide support to U.S. troops and their families:

“The effort officially kicked off on May 18 with a military appreciation event at a San Diego Walmart supercenter to observe “Armed Forces Day,” one of the first in a series of tributes hosted at stores across the U.S. The events comprised live entertainment, food provided by Johnsonville Sausage’s “Big Taste Grill” (a 65-foot grilling system mounted on a semi-trailer truck), and product giveaways from PepsiCo/Frito-Lay, General Mills, Kellogg Co., ConAgra Foods and Kraft Foods Group.”
