Walmart’s “ecosystem” as a model for understanding business development – Strategy + Business

In a recent article on Strategy + Business, David K. Hurst profiled Walmart’s growth and continued success by likening it to an ecosystem, comparing its growth, dominance and even its failures to natural phenomena.

Hurst notes that other businesses can likewise use this model to better understand how they operate and can continue to flourish.
